Spider Maps for Buses

In London, every bus shelter has a spider map showing very clearly where all the buses that service that location (and the surrounding streets) goes. These maps show the integrated system and are significantly clearer and provide more information quickly than existing maps.

An example was already created by Peter Dunn for the H Street area several years ago: http://greatergreaterwashington.org/post/11965/h-street-bus-spider-map-can-demystify-bus-service/

Seconding this -- better bus map signage could encourage people to actually ride buses, especially at stops where multiple bus transit systems (FFConnector, ART, DASH, RideOn) come together with Metrobus.

This is a great idea. It took me a while to figure out how to integrate the cross town buses into my commutes, rather than riding the Metrorail all the way around from College Park to Bethesda.
