Small ideas can make Metro greater.

Dual platforms: Enter one side, exit the other

In selected locations, if room permits, construct platforms on both sides of the train, so one is dedicated for exit.

This may not be cost effective but could be tried at one above ground stop deemed to benefit greatest

Good idea but Would this cost less than 100 grand?

Try it at one station with most benefit and simplest construction.
Also factor this in to future construction expansion or upgrade plans.

I would hope the discussion and work product of this contest leads to eventual research and development in subject areas beyond the stated limited scope of one single $100k action.

The amount of stations that could acquire the space for this (excluding Nat'l Airport & WFC) is less than 3, I'd wager.
