Small ideas can make Metro greater.

Install intercoms on trains near doors for passengers to alert drivers when doors close before all people can fully exit

I've had close calls before but this week was first time doors closed before we could all exit. And I was sitting in the front seat! Drivers need to be trained to be cognizant of the fact most riders congregate in railcar closest to exits at major transfer stations. In this case, it was the middle car at Metro station. In the case of Chinatown/Gallery Place, it's the last car. God forbid there would have been a family that got separated because the doors closed on them!!!

This should be considered an emergency to ensure children are not separated from their parents.
